Self-interested
Purely self-interested beings have self-interest, and no sadism or true-care. About 5-10% of humans are purely self-interested. Self-interest is a GOOD thing, it's the "light" that's been keeping this world alive despite the sadism in the heart of most humans.
Self-interest has been given a bad name by the typical humans. These people do evil things out of sadism, and then blame it on self-interest. Even theifs, they steal because they like harming innocent people, and because they know they can always pretend "oh I did it because I needed the money"!
Things like this, is how self-interest gets a bad name.
But that doesn't matter around here, on this website. We don't give a shit about the bad names or illusions. We care about how things REALLY ARE. Self-interest is a good thing and purely self-interested people are usually seen (even by me) as "good people", by most people on Earth.
This is because reality just has it that cooperation is more natural than domination. So it makes more sense for two self-interested people to cooperate and even love each other than to fight each other.
They are still not innocent. Self-interested people don't like listening to the truth, to face the fact that something is missing in their soul.
Self-interested people have been "keeping the ship afloat" (keeping human society functioning), despite not "changing the course of the ship".
The typical humans (cruel guys), have set the course of the ship and sabotage their own ship because they are freaking insane. The self-interested ones are the ones who help restore things, even if they don't fight the system.
Self-interested people don't like seeing themselves as different than the rest of humanity, despite that they really are. If the typical human has 5% sadism in their heart... a self-interested person will pretend they have 0% sadism, and make excuses for them, and just throw his hands in the air and give up trying to explain them, as if it's an accepted thing that human behaviour will never make sense.
The self-interested person will just see himself as the same as typical humans in a world that can't be explained, when what he SHOULD be doing, is seeing himself as DIFFERENT in a world that CAN be explained.
They do this because they don't want the lonliness of separation from humanity or being targetted by the cruel masses for being "different". Because they don't want to stand up for the right thing if it's not in their self-interest to do so.
Soon enough we'll see that while these self-interested people have done a good job in keeping the ship afloat and making life on Earth livable and survivable and even fun sometimes.... (hey even Michael Palin from Monty Python was self-interested and he was a good guy!)... ITS NOT ENOUGH.
We need people with enough true-care and natural-respect to fight and destroy the system that these self-interested people have let themselves be used to support, even if they didn't create it (the cruel guys created it).
