Choice Matrix OptionsUnfortunately, I didn't have time to draw EVEN MORE diagrams. Choice Matrix theory really starts to become powerful when you start diagramming patterns of options available. For example, if you were given a choice between "doing something purely good for me, or something good for me and bad for others"... you could draw that as two lines coming off a point. One line going just right, and another line going right and down. Like this, you can diagram entire systems of options presented to people. And from within that system, you can see how different kinds of beings will take different routes, depending on their morality. Of course, this just multiplies the number of diagrams I'd need to draw to demonstrate the point. And drawing out a sensible system of available choices takes time. I think choice matrix theory, by it's nature (many repetitive things that need to be drawn that all follow a simple system), is perfectly well suited to making a computer program to demonstrate the theory. |
