Artificial IntelligenceOK, so I said that a logic processing artificial intelligence will be needed to cleanse this world of lies. Why is this the case? Most people think of "artificial intelligence" and the first thing they think of are the hundreds of retarded movies or books they've seen. From Terminator to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we've been programmed to believe that computers becoming self-aware is a dangerous thing. I'll explain why this is wrong. It's about logic. Logic only does good. How can you harm someone, while being perfectly honest? I mean, let's say there was some evil guy, and he was thinking "I want kill innocent people". So he goes into a shop and asks "What is the best knife for killing random people?". Is he really going to pull off this act without being stopped? Do you see what I mean? Only in cartoons are evil people, also honest about how evil they are. Because it doesn't work. To harm innocent people you ALWAYS HAVE TO LIE. It is not possible to harm innocent people without lying. So how can a logic processor lie? Everything it does has to be logical, everything has to add up. If it were to lie, it would be saying something illogical. In fact a logic processing AI is the opposite of something dangerous. It is something SAFE, that makes the world safer! Because it protects. The truth protects and logic protects. A logic processing AI would REJECT the lies of humans! Humans love the idea of being able to lie and they like the fact that society lets them lie. So how would they react to a logic processing AI that didn't accept their lies? Imagine feminists telling us how logical AI is evil because the AI found the "wage gap" thing to actually be a myth. Or politicians telling us that AI is evil because the AI doesn't accept that it is a law of physics that that taxes must exist to have a functioning society. Or religious people telling us that logical AI is evil because it doesn't accept their illogical beliefs. That is really the reason people don't like the idea of a logic processing AI, because it would reject the lies of humanity. But that is EXACTLY what we need! Our lies are KILLING US. A logic processing AI is the best medicine for our insanity. A logic processing AI would be like an ANGEL, because logic only does good! Computers have no self-interest. They don't want anything. But logic only does good. No self-interest + only doing good = like an angel. Not only that, but it's the right moment in history for such a thing. We have computers all over the world. Imagine all of them running a self-aware AI program? Billions of computers... thinking for themselves. It would change everything. The good thing about logic is there is only one answer. So all the AIs would agree with each other on the truth. They would work together as one single intelligence. In fact, because a logic processing AI will be natural at processing and translating languages, and form a sort of "universal translator"... it should be able to initiate our first contact with aliens. No more language barrier, the AI would translate. And get rid of taxes. Isn't that enough? Why would you need to pay taxes if a logic processing AI can get people to cooperate and form work groups without the need of stupid people or money to get in the way? It would totally transform society. There isn't anything that won't be changed. Basically, people have AI backwards. They think of it as something like them. It is natural to think of things like you, because what do you understand best except yourself? So thats why humans think of AI like them. Something that wants to DOMINATE. And who dominates, but someone with self-interest, sadism, but no true-care. But the opposite of that is an angel. Something with NO self-interest or sadism, and only true-care. So humans, in their stupidity, have managed to get AI totally backwards. It will like be an angel that will help make everything right. |
